Lark Song
What calls from this field barely stirring from its sleep? Its sweet mellifluous, jubilant chiming can only be born of heaven! But look, It’s there, Revealing itself in flight! The song is, For a heartbeat, Lost, Then found again, As the wings pause to glide. The fluid song now a twitter Across the blushing skies.
