Dragonfly

You dart and weave
Flashing your jeweled body.
Are you
A pixie?
A fairy?
Do you paint the flowers
And grow the trees?
You fly through the meadow and skim the ponds
Dragonfly,
Dragonfly
Iridescent poet of the sky.
