She

stretches out her roots
weaving through the earth
while rain drizzles down
and
wind splashes up against her trunk
the river wanders
She can’t see her reflection
the wind pushes
the river splashes
making ripples
it flirts with leaves and trees along the way
She lives
on the bank of this river
with
shimmering
spider webs on her branches
waving
and
frosted
from
rain
