A foaming river,
Desolate rocks,
Bark of redwoods,
Murky water,
Strong currents,
Gloomy tunnels,
Patches of grass,
Chiming clocks,
Shivering air,
Roaring noises,
Timid saplings,
Stone walls,
Blooming buds,
Crackling leaves,
Overgrown live-oaks,
Puzzled together,
My life.
