Gardens

In this vast, pleasant zoo
I see perfection
Of Grecian delight,
Tiers of straight walkways and paths
Line the solid labyrinth.
A forest, so trimmed in its
cordiality
Bows like a handsome butler
In the rustling air.
Statues amusing,
Hidden among the bushes,
toadstools of cement
Plastered into the water.
I see people trying to create
The perfect nature,
And I see nature
declaring a silent war.
