The Voice of a River

Thundering peace
Crashing silk
The whispering ripples
Of a pounding melody

Flying spirit
Treasure stored
The shadows deep as forever
A shimmering glance

At what might have been
What could still be
The river
Knows no time

Carrying secrets
Through forever
Never stopping, unchanging
Power

Tugging memories
From a crystal reflection
A silent voice
Shouting to the soul
