Ode to the fern,
Silhouette of determination,
Firm,
Desperate,
Yet confident
Roots,
Surrounded with
Comfort,
Generations of family,
Self conscious,
Spottily brave,
Always arching
And reaching,
With a raised chin,
Searching for
Glory,
Ode to the fern,
Cascading over
The
Concrete
Wall.
